The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date Ref. 16613LB is one of the most recognizable two-tone Rolex sports watches, combining stainless steel, 18K yellow gold, and the unmistakable blue dial and bezel configuration commonly known by collectors as the “Bluesy.”
This example dates to approximately 2007 and represents a desirable later-production configuration of the five-digit Submariner. It features a 40mm two-tone Oyster case, no-holes case design, blue rotating bezel, blue Submariner Date dial, and sapphire crystal with Rolex’s signature Cyclops magnification over the date.
A notable detail on this example is the later gold-through clasp, complementing the two-tone Oyster bracelet with stainless steel outer links and 18K yellow-gold center links.
